Colouring Competition

Art is a way of expression and any form of art without proper colour becomes meaningless. Colours add zeal to the life and tiny tots express themselves through the multicolours with which they fill the printed sheet provided to them. Sheets provided to children were of three levels. Fruit basket for Pre-Nursery, Fruit Market for Pre-School and dancing composition for Pre-Primary students. Young artists ardently participated and impressed the guest and judges.

Scrap Files
Under the ISA British Council In-house project “Cuisines and Cultures” students showed their creative side with the help of their parents. Food reflects a perfect blend of various cultures which was very clearly and vividly elaborated in scrap files which tiny tots beautified along with their parents. Pictures of traditional dresses of countries selected China, India, Italy, Korea and Nepal were also pasted in scrap files. Scrap files were later put on display for children and for parents. In the process of making files students connected to the similarities of the cultures and enhanced their knowledge.

ISA BRITISH COUNCIL ONLINE PROJECT
PLACES OF WORSHIP
CLASS:  VII
JULY - AUGUST, 2018

This project undertaken in July – August, 2018 was a unique blend of activities  involving the students of grade seven. They enjoyed all the activities to learn the skills of team work, discipline, music, art and community service. It was a learning joyride for Davians as these activities gave scholars a chance to showcase their best of skills and learn something new about different religions,  which they don't practice otherwise. Parents appreciated the new knowledge acquired by their children.

Educational Trip

Educational Trip was the best way to educate children as it not only helped in breaking monotony but also gave the required exposure to the students, a chance to socialize, to make them curious to learn and retain new things. A place of worship enlightens our soul and makes us feel at peace. The session of spiritual talks, putting the historical facts and myths together helped the students to learn about  new religions. It was a visit to remember which enlightened the young folks and left them mesmerized by the beautiful architecture of religious places.
