Mock Drill
The school organized a mock drill showcasing the survival skills in case of earthquake emergency adopting and
following the emergency adopting and following the emergency exit plan.
Mr.
Aditya Dahiya, ADC,Faridabad ; Dr.M.P.Singh,Chief Warden, Civil defence and
Senior Specialist District Disaster Management AuthorityFBD And Ms. DolphieRaman, Research
Officer, Disaster Management were invited to guide the students.
The drill started with an Emergency alarm,wherein, all the students and
teachers of class IX and X hide themselves under the benches. Then at the 2nd
Emergency alarm, they all covered their heads with bags and rushed out into an
open area following the emergency exit plan explained to them earlier. The
drill concluded with the useful tips and guidelines provided to the students by
the esteemed guests.

The activities like these are not only teaching the students to be well prepared for any disaster but also how to minimise the destructions caused by them . All the four presentations are very thought provoking . If the future of India is in hands of such youth it is surely going to be very bright
